San Francisco artisan, Kimberly Austin takes us back to a time when writing was an art form and receiving tactile
correspondence was the highest priority of the day.  Using a circa 1800s Chandler & Price letterpress, Kimberly
creates beautifully handcrafted stationery that can be cherished forever.  She has lovingly mastered a process that
dates back more than 500 years making every piece of paper ephemera a timeless tradition to behold.  Kimberly
is the creative genius behind each of these exquisite handmade papers of art.    

             
In the San Francisco Bay area, there is a very talented ceramicist, Joanna Mendicino, who creates simply beautiful
pieces of pottery with her own two hands.  Since her childhood days, Joanna has been drawn to nature – animals
and Earth – so it’s not surprising that these elements come to life through her designs.  Simple, modern, playful
and one-of-a-kind, j. Mendicino ceramics are cast out of love from a dedicated artisan.

                       
All of these adorable stuffed animals are individually knit by hand in Bolivia by indigenous women.  Francesca and
Mariapia Basilico, established i golfini della nonna in 1994, and have been working with the same women’s
cooperative in Bolivia for over 12 years.  They were instrumental in creating better living conditions (health,
daycare, micro loans) for the craftswomen.  Due to the heart-guided efforts of the Basilicos and the talents of these
Bolivian artisans, many of the women have been able to change the quality of their life and that of their family.

             
Two brothers, two different degrees, one great idea:  well-designed accessories.  Stewart/Stand is the creation of
Theo and Paul Stewart-Stand of New York.  The focus of their products is simple, sophisticated and precise. They
have an affinity for turning stainless steel into a functional object.  

                     
In a studio located on a beautiful 20 acre farm near the Oregon coast, Kristin Loganbill designs and creates a
collection of prints and fabric goods for her company, MoonTea Artwork.  Her life on the farm is obvious inspiration
for her textile art.  Kristin is a very talented blockprint artist with her own definitive style.

                              
Inspired by her childhood in South America, Karen Young is the artistic mastermind behind these hand drawn,
screen printed designs.  In her Brooklyn studio, she creates an exotic fusion of nature in its tropic splendor.  The
home goods are stunningly beautiful and eco-conscious, for Karen uses organic fabrics, recycled paper, and water
based, solvent free inks.

                
The creative talent of Alena Hennessy has been inspired by her fascination for the little things found in nature.  
Through her independent art study in Florence, Italy, Alena began to evolve her love of art into thoughtfully
designed products. All of her printing and creating is done in her studio in Asheville, NC.  Alena Hennessy has a
mission to do things as ethical and sustainable as possible.

        
From her atelier in Trondheim, Norway, Julie designs and makes simply irresistible purses.  Julie has always been
interested in colors, shapes, textures and design.  Growing up in a creative home with a seamstress and interior
designer for a mother, it’s easy to see the natural talent of this gifted artisan.  


Created by designer, Margot Elena, Lollia is a creation of luxurious formulas and signature packaging.  Inspired by
soft, sophisticated textiles and warmth, these finely made products come to life.  Headquartered in Colorado, Lollia
is the ideal combination of beautiful design and perfectly formulated ingredients for bath and body product
connoisseurs.     

                  
Andreea Ayers is the brilliant mind behind Tees for Change.  In Spring 2007, she started this small business in
Boulder, CO as an ongoing commitment to living an eco-friendly lifestyle with a deep belief in positive thinking.  
The onesies for your baby are made from organic cotton, printed with water-based inks, and manufactured in US
facilities using solar and wind energy for power. Andreea is a positive example for a greener world!

             
From her bindery in Skye, Scotland, Laura West specializes in traditional and contemporary hand-sewn books.  
She is a classically trained award winning bookbinder and works to archival standards hand-binding books to last a
lifetime.  These Coptic style books are inspired by the first books invented in Africa 2000 years ago.  They are
beautifully designed, exquisitely bound, and inspirational to artists and writers alike.  Laura West’s books are
treasured works of art.


Tatine is a small artisanal candle studio located in Chicago.  The handcrafted collections are made in small batches
by Margo Breznik.  Margo carefully and lovingly hand blends each fragrance and creates each candle with her own
magical artistic hands.  These candles are made with heart and feeling – a complete human touch from beginning to
end.


Jaboneria Marianella left her native country of Venezuela and moved to Dallas, TX, and with her, she brought the
cherished memories of the world she left behind.  These memories inspired her to continue an old family tradition
of soap making.  She never dreamed that what she used to practice with her sisters in their mother’s kitchen on
Sunday afternoons would turn into a lush family business.  Her mission is to create soap that lingers in your skin
and in your thoughts…and she does just that with these exquisite handcrafted soaps filled with magnificent
essences.


O’Susanna has been involved with design for many years and had studios in New York and Los Angeles with
representation throughout the U.S. and Europe.  Now settled in the quiet Sierra Nevada Foothills of Northern
California, she still loves to create and design new items.  Her pieces are lovingly made with the utmost care and
attention.  O’Susanna has an affinity for pretty things, and this is evident when you become a recipient of her
beautifully created products.


Maria Rodgers and Maria Livings studied painting and printmaking together in college.  After moving to South East
London, their love for theatre and community arts evolved into their business of applying colour and characteristic
quirky prints to home design ware.  Today, they design and make all their LUSH DESIGNS in house at their lovely
studio in Deptford.   


Natsumi grew up in the rural countryside on the Southern coast of Japan surrounded by beaches and mountains,
which became her playground.  It was there she became deeply inspired by nature.  Now living in New York City,
she mixes the elements of the natural world with ideas from contemporary art, design, fashion and architecture.  
Natsumi’s work consists of simple line illustrations and watercolors.


Linda Daily has been painting with watercolors for eighteen years and filling journals with travel sketches and
scenes from everyday life.  The subject matter is brought to life by Linda’s talented ability to capture the play of light
and shadow.  Inspiration swept her brushstrokes into a patisserie fancy after a recent trip to Paris resulting in a solo
exhibition in her hometown of Portland, Oregon which later evolved into the Patisserie Card Series.   


Birds of Sausalito is a family run business that began by Megan and her husband. Birds Boxer Shorts are hand
